Why I Love Action Challenge...

Writer's picture: AJ TrelawnyAJ Trelawny

On 19th of January I took on 21 km of Action Challenge's Winter walk.

There were two distance options 21 km or 42 km.

My sister and I took on the 21 km as part of a wider challenge across the year (Totalling 175 km) I will cover this in more detail in other posts but today I want to tell you all why I love Action Challenge events so much.

Firstly, I have been on other events, organised by other companies. They have all been fun and adequately organised.

However, there is something different about Action Challenge events.

They have the best staff and volunteer:

Dave, the event host has the best terrible jokes.

Nina and the rest of the cheer squad make you feel like the most important person on the event.

Trek masters - not all heroes wear capes!!

Plus everyone else who works behind the scenes to make the events just happen (Like magic)

They listen:

After every event they ask for feedback and it is usually acted upon by the next event.

Signage:

You can't get lost when you are looking for cute pink arrows, glow sticks and flags.

Food:

The food is always plentiful. Fruit, cake, chocolate, hot meals, cake, biscuits. tea and coffee. Almost anything you could want.

Bling and bubbly:

Why else would you rock up on a cold damp Sunday and walk if not for a shiny new medal!!

My next challenge event is Easter Walk in April.

Feel free to comment below if you are doing any challenges in 2020!

Thanks as always for popping by.
