Goodbye September...

Writer's picture: AJ TrelawnyAJ Trelawny

I know we are a few days into October already but here is my September round up.

I set myself five goals and I have definitely been working towards them.

1. Make weekly writing a habit. I have scheduled two working days where I can put in uninterrupted hours. I will be working 4 hours a week minimum.

I have been making more time on my scheduled working days to write but as yet this hasn't really stuck. Flexibility is important to me so maybe I need to ensure I spend 4 hours a week in front of the keyboard working. Ideally this will be on my 'working' days but if I get invited for coffee then I will need to make time to work elsewhere in my schedule.

2. Restart my weekly walking habit. I have set up a lucky dip training jar to keep me motivated.

Again, this is something that I haven't been dedicated to yet. However, Hubby is going to pay my sign up fees to an ultra challenge for next year so that should get me moving my arse again!

3. Set up a Kindle Direct Publishing account

Yay, something I have done!! I blogged about it too.

4. Publish my first short story online

The Marathon Man is now available on Kindle for 99p or free using your Kindle unlimited subscription.

5. Finish first draft of my extra 10,000 words for 'The Borrowed Husband.'

Nope :)

I did however finish my first draft of a second short story - A Sister's Wrath. 3500 words of deceit and revenge. If I'm honest I haven't even opened the document containing my The Borrowed Husband manuscript. Maybe in October, who knows!

So, there you have it. Lots of things to improve on. Keep your eyes peeled for my October Goals post soon.

Thanks for popping by.

Love

AJ xx
